Scholarships for Doctors.

Since 1997 Clarós Foundation awards 1 year scholarships to doctors in training period from emergent countries. We finance their training as Room & Board expenses in Barcelona. They are trained during their last years of Residence in the fields of otorhinolaryngology, audiology, speech rehabilitation and face, head and neck surgery. Thanks to the agreements with the local universities, this training is officially acknowledged in their respective countries. Sixteen young doctors in training period have already been trained from the following countries: Rumania, Russia, India, Poland and Senegal

Financial aid

The Clarós Foundation offers financial aid to profound hearing loss patients from our country, preferably to those who are carriers or future candidates of cochlear implant. Several patients have already been implanted with Clarós Foundation funds and others have been given new technology, due to loss or obselete devices. The financial resources are limited, therefore we can only attend few requests.

Implants covered by the Clarós Foundation.

In Spain we have implanted 50 cochlear implants with an approximate cost of 30.000 Euros each one.
